The Information Security Institute has a large variety of hardware that may be checked out by students for use with classwork, capstone projects, and personal research.

Available Hardware

  • Networking Equipment (Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Access Points, NICs, etc.)
  • Micro-controllers (Arduino, Propeller, Raspberry Pi, etc.)
  • Electrical Engineering Equipment (Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Soldering tools, etc.)
  • Hacking Tools (WiFi Pineapple, Ubertooth, JTAG readers, RFID spoofers, etc.)
  • Drones (DJI, 3DR, Parrot, etc.)
  • IoT Devices (Echo Dot, Phillips Hue, etc.)
  • And lots more...

Returning Hardware

Students are expected to return hardware on or before the date specified on the signed form completed during checkout. Failure to return hardware may result in delayed course credit and/or graduation.
