ALFA Networks is a manufacturer of Network Interface Cards (NICs) commonly used in the MSSI course. Historically, we have given out these cards to use with to do Wireless_Packet_Sniffing.

Installation

There are various ways to install the NICs depending on your chosen platform.

Windows / MacOS

Most drivers for ALFA NICs can be found on their [1%20WiFi%20USB%20adapter official downloads]] page.

Linux

Linux drivers for ALFA NICs can be tricky sometimes. Depending on the hardware, drivers may require different custom-compiled 3rd-party sources. This is a list of known hardware and DKMS (Ubuntu/Kali) modules.
