MSSI General-Use Workstations

Within the MSSI Lab there are 22 General-Use Workstations that are available for any MSSI student to use. These workstations are located on top of the desks in the room and are labeled as "MSSI" on the front. These systems are connected to the MSSI Lab Network and contain most of the software you will need for your coursework along with plenty of other tools for doing your research.

Current Hardware Specification

  • Dell Optiplex 9020
  • 1x 4th Generation Intel i7-4770 Processor (3.4GHz, 8M, 84W)
  • 32GB 1600MHz DDR3 Non-ECC RAM
  • 2x 1TB Hard Drives
  • 1x 10 Gigabit Ethernet
  • 1x 1 Gigabit Ethernet
