VM Hosting

ISI has several options for Virtual Machine (VM) Hosting in the event that a VM is needed for classwork, capstone project, or personal research.

In order to request a VM, please fill out the Virtual Machine Request Form.

Class VMs

If you are required to have one or more VMs for your classwork, this is (in most cases) referring to personal VMs hosted temporarily on the MSSI General-Use Workstations or your own computer using a VMAP license.

Some classes, including Network Application Security and Ethical Hacking, will have VMs set up for you to access in advance. Your instructor will send out information on how to access these.

Capstone Projects & Personal Research

ISI has a dedicated server for VMs that are for capstone projects and individual research. If you would like a VM for your project, please fill out the form above.
